Program Lead Instructors:
Lead Instructors oversee client bookings such as STEM workshops, In-house Field Trips, or other hosted events with one or more of our game kits. This generally means leading children grades K-6 or family groups with young children through a series of guided activities or supervising open play. Duties include delivery and setup of materials, leading STEM challenge activities or guiding informal STEM learning in open sessions, supervising support staff, monitoring conditions for safety, and interacting with clients to ensure we meet expectations. Teaching experience or prior experience leading groups of children required. Experience supervising support staff preferred. Contracted pay rate commensurate with experience ($25-$45/hour). Events will be posted on a bookings app, and Instructors may choose any or all events meeting their interests and availability. Possible hours available per month vary but may range from 3-15 hours per month.

Program Support Generalist:
Program Support Generalists will assist the Lead Instructors in a variety of ways, depending on their abilities. This can be a great role for someone aspiring to be a Lead Instructor. Duties include setting up materials, guiding groups of kids or families through STEM activities, repairing or restoring game setups as necessary, helping individual participants discover ways to use game pieces, and packing up at the conclusion of events. Contracted pay rate commensurate with experience ($15-$30/hour). Events will be posted on a bookings app, and support staff may choose events that interest them. Hours per month depend on your availability and interests but may range from approximately 3-15 hours per month.
Delivery Specialist:
Be the person who delivers all the fun stuff! This role requires the ability to safely drive a fully-packed car, load and unload large and heavy game kit items up to approximately 50 lbs, as well as use the interpersonal skills necessary to coordinate delivery times and locations with both Melon Seeds supervisory staff and client staff. Drivers must be enthusiastic problem solvers ready to address client concerns on site! Pay rate commensurate with experience ($15-$25). Delivery opportunities will be posted on a bookings app, and delivery staff may choose dates that work for them. Approximate hours per week vary depending on bookings but could go up to about 30 hours per week, particularly in the summer, depending on your availability and interest.
